Katharine Castle
Current managing editor of Eurogamer. Formerly editor of Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Married to Matthew Castle.
Katharine is Eurogamer's Managing Editor and primary spreadsheet organiser. Since 2012, she's been a specialist in PC games and PC hardware, writing for Computer Shopper, Expert Reviews, MCV and most recently Rock Paper Shotgun, where she was Editor-In-Chief from 2021 to 2024. She's always loved video games, growing up on a steady diet of Nintendo and Final Fantasy fodder, and is now very excited she can talk about Zelda and Xenoblade Chronicles as a legitimate part of her work. She's also very partial to JRPGs, turn-based tactics and platforming games, and will never say no to a good Metroidvania.[1]
